The Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Constanta was established on May 9, 1924. Our Consulate General is only active Consulate General of Türkiye in Romania, and we also have an Honorary Consulate General in Tulcea. A Commercial Attaché Office also operates within our Consulate General.

The Consulate General's jurisdiction encompasses the provinces of Constanta, as well as the provinces of Kalaraş (Calaraşi), Kalas (Galati), Brayil (Braila), and Tulcea (Tulcea).

We serve approximately 3,300 Turkish citizens residing in our jurisdiction region. Furthermore, we work in cooperation with Romanian authorities to preserve the culture, traditions, religion, and language of our Turkish and Tatar compatriots, who, according to official figures, exceed 40,000 in Romania, the majority of whom live in our jurisdiction region.

According to data from the Constanta Chamber of Industry and Commerce, there are 790 active Turkish-capital companies in Constanta, and the total investment made by our businesspeople has reached RON 84,260,000. Our Consulate General, in collaboration with our Commercial Attaché, carries out activities to facilitate the development of trade and economic relations between Türkiye and Romania.

In addition to our citizens, we also handle consular transactions for Romanian citizens and third-country nationals residing in Romania.
